RIO LAW ENFORCEMENT IN THE NEWS

June, 2012 - Representatives from Rio-LE attended the inaugural CPCC Sporting Clays Classic benefitting CPCC Military Veterans and First Responders was held on May 18th, 2012, at the tranquil Meadow Wood Farm in Waxhaw, NC. This sporting clay shoot featured a morning and afternoon shoot, breakfast, lunch and silent/live auction. Shooters enjoyed a 13-station course, the special Flurry and Frenzy stations sponsored by Rio Ammunition and the Golden Clay Shoot; all to benefit men and women in civil service. The morning shoot, open to 30 teams of four, benefited CPCC’s Veterans Services. The afternoon shoot, also open to 30 teams of four, offered a unique opportunity for law enforcement, fire and emergency medical personnel to test their marksmanship by competing against their colleagues. 2012 CPCC Classic Clay Pigeon Cup and Inaugural First Responder’s Cup marked the first time Rio has participated in an event such as this in the Carolinas. Rio’s product donations had been dispersed throughout the shooting course in addition to the two stations designated as “Sponsored by Rio Ammunition”. The publicity Rio received was greatly welcomed as they had the privilege to meet and discuss their products to individuals and avid Rio users. The charitable competition this year brought approximately 450 shooters, guests, spectators and a limited number of vendors to this event. Rio cartridges were proudly displayed at each station giving shooters a choice to experience our performance and reliability.
