assembly of its cartridge. This contributes to
better integration of the production processes.
The mission of the
container is multiple. On one hand
it takes maximum advantage of the combustion of the
gunpowder by means of a perfect internal seal at the
moment of firing and, on the other, it contains the shot and
travels with it in its trajectory inside the barrel – helping it to
avoid being deformed by friction with the barrel walls. In addition, the
container wad flexes its joining column between the two receptacles and thus
contributes to a reduction in the recoil of the firearm.
The manufacture of
UEE Cartuchería Deportiva, S.A. containers is performed by injection
moulding of low-density polyethylene using the most advanced machinery and the
latest technology in injection moulding. This guarantees a product of high
quality and uniformity in its cartridge.
